As a not for profit volunteer based organisation, CleftPALS appreciate your donations, which are used for the following purposes:
Special Feeding Equipment
Babies born with a cleft often need specialist feeding equipment. The cost of this equipment can be a burden for some families, who are already dealing with many hospital and specialist appointments. Your donation can help to cover the cost of this special feeding equipment for a family in need.
Morning Teas, Family Day and CleftSTAR events
Events and opportunities to meet with and share stories with other families is an integral part of CleftPALS. Donations help subsidise or cover the cost for cleft affected families to attend these events.
Education
Our committee spend time educating doctors, Maternal Health Nurses, midwives and radiographers about clefts. Your donation can cover the cost to post information leaflets and newsletters to hospitals, Early Childhood Health Clinics, radiographers and specialist doctors offices.
CleftPALS NSW accept donations via cheque or direct deposit. All donations over $2 will be supplied with an official receipt for tax purposes. Cleft Palate and Lip Society of NSW Inc (CleftPALS) is a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission.
